Woodstock, IL, December 11, 2015– The Woodstock Jaycees are asking community members to complete an online survey in order to identify the needs within the Woodstock community. The information gained from the survey will be used to create a needs assessment for the community and a plan of action on how to address them.
Junior Chamber International or JCI is a long standing community organization dedicated to creating sustainable positive change within communities around the world. Members, also known as Jaycees, are encouraged to make a meaningful impact on the communities they serve through civic involvement, volunteerism and personal development.
The Woodstock chapter of JCI’s incoming president Crystal Squires echoes this commitment; “The Woodstock Jaycees desire is to have a positive impact on the city of Woodstock in the areas that matter most to the community; this survey will provide us with the first step to do that”. The Woodstock Jaycees provide many services and events within Woodstock. These include the annual Easter Egg Hunt held at Emrickson Park, road cleanup along Dean St., the planting and maintaining of the flower urns on the square, and the Best of Woodstock Pizza Contest.
The survey can be taken using the following link, www.surveymonkey.com/r/3VZMSX2. Anyone interested in learning more about the Woodstock Jaycees or want updates on upcoming events are encouraged to like the Woodstock Jaycees Facebook page at www.facebook.com/Woodstock.Jaycees.
